The City of Brownsville Parks & Recreation Department invites non-profit organizations, community groups, schools, and civic organizations to participate in Lunada Night Market: Homecoming – Show Your School Spirit!

Lunada Night Market is one of Brownsville's premier community events, bringing together families, local businesses, entertainment, and community organizations for an evening of connection and celebration. This Homecoming-themed event is an excellent opportunity for non-profit organizations to share their mission, engage with the community, recruit volunteers, promote upcoming programs, and raise awareness about the services they provide.

Whether you're educating the public, providing resources, or fundraising for your cause, we welcome your participation in helping create a vibrant and community-focused event.

Organization Booth Notes & Requirements

Please review the following information before submitting your application:

Organizations are responsible for providing their own 10' x 10' tent, tables, chairs, displays, and promotional materials.

Tent weights are required for all canopy tents. Stakes are not permitted unless approved by event staff.

**Organization Booth Placement:** Organizations will select their preferred booth location from the available spaces during the required organization meeting. Booth locations are not assigned by the Parks & Recreation Department; staff will document and confirm each organization’s selected space. Organizations that are unable to attend the meeting will be able to select from the remaining available booth spaces after the meeting. Parks & Recreation staff will assist organizations with identifying their selected location and navigating the booth layout but will not determine or select a booth location on the organization’s behalf.

Organizations are encouraged to create an engaging and interactive booth through educational materials, activities, demonstrations, games, or giveaways.

Organizations may distribute informational materials related to their mission and services.

Organizations wishing to collect donations or sell merchandise must indicate this on their application and receive prior approval from the Parks & Recreation Department.

Booths must be fully set up by 5:30 PM and remain open and staffed for the duration of the event (6:00 PM – 10:00 PM).

Organizations are responsible for keeping their booth area clean and removing all trash before departing.

The City of Brownsville Parks & Recreation Department reserves the right to prohibit materials or activities that are unsafe, disruptive, or inconsistent with the event's family-friendly atmosphere.

**Organization Check-In:** 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM
**Setup:** 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM
**Event Hours:** 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
**Breakdown:** 10:00 PM – 11:00 PM
