Announcement for Learn to Swim Participants
Due to the expected inclement weather, the City of Brownsville Parks and Recreation Aquatics Division is canceling all swim lessons, swim team practices, and other scheduled programming tomorrow, Wednesday, June 19, at Gonzalez Pool. The forecasted thunderstorms pose a significant threat to public safety, and our priority is to ensure the well-being of all participants.
To accommodate for the lost lesson time, we will hold a makeup session on Friday, June 28. Should additional cancellations be necessary, we will issue vouchers equivalent to the monetary value of the lessons missed due to the weather.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this tropical cyclone. For any inquiries, please contact us via email at Aquatics@brownsvilletx.gov.
Thank you,
The City of Brownsville Parks and Recreation Aquatics Division
