Vendor Notes & Requirements

Please read the following information carefully before submitting your application.

Vendors are responsible for providing their own 10' x 10' tent, tables, chairs, extension cords, display materials, and any additional equipment needed for their booth.

Tent weights are required for all canopy tents. Stakes are not permitted unless approved by event staff.

**Vendor Booth Placement:** Vendors will select their preferred booth location from the available spaces during the required vendor meeting. Booth locations are not assigned by the Parks & Recreation Department; staff will document and confirm each vendor’s selected space. Vendors who are unable to attend the meeting will be able to select from the remaining available booth spaces after the meeting. Parks & Recreation staff will assist vendors with identifying their selected location and navigating the booth layout but will not determine or select a booth location on the vendor’s behalf.

Vendors requiring electricity must indicate this on their application. Electrical access is limited and is not guaranteed.

Vendors are responsible for bringing sufficient lighting for their booth if needed.

Food vendors must provide all necessary cooking equipment and comply with all City of Brownsville Health Department regulations and permit requirements.

Vendors using generators must receive prior approval. Generators must be quiet, properly maintained, and safely operated.

Vendors are responsible for keeping their booth area clean throughout the event and must remove all trash before leaving.

Booth spaces must remain open and staffed for the entire duration of the event. Early breakdown or departure is not permitted without approval from event staff.

Vehicles must be unloaded during the designated setup time and removed from the event area before the event begins.

The City of Brownsville Parks & Recreation Department is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged merchandise or equipment.

Vendors are encouraged to decorate their booths to match the **Homecoming – Show Your School Spirit!** theme. School colors, mascots, football spirit, and community pride decorations are welcome.

Food vendors should have adequate supplies available for the duration of the event, as attendance is expected to be high.
