Rental Policies

Rental Fees: Rental fees are correct at time of printing and are subject to change without previous notice.

All rental fees are for 8 hours. Additional hours are $150 per hour, $250 per hour after 12 midnight (2 hours max-Fridays and Saturdays only).

A minimum rental fee payment of 50% for any of the rooms is due and payable upon contract signature, balance due sixty (60) days prior to scheduled function. A damage deposit of $350 is due and payable sixty (60) days prior to scheduled function. A damage deposit of $350 is due and payable sixty (60) days prior to scheduled function. Any applicable deposit will be refunded by mail within 30 working days after the scheduled function, should no damage occur or should total damages not exceed the damage deposit. Musical concerts or similar activities must provide a damage deposit of $1,000 plus proof of liability insurance.

The Brownsville Events Center does not provide security for events. Renter will make arrangements to provide security from the Brownsville Police Department. The requirement of security service does not in any way waive the responsibility for damages.

Cancellation: 6 months prior to function date, full refund. Less than 6 months but more than 90 says, 50% refund. Less than 90 days, 100% of the rental fees are automatically forfeited. No shows automatically forfeit 100% of payments made.
